In a groundbreaking move, the Young India Skill University (YISU) in Telangana has entered into a strategic partnership with the globally acclaimed Singapore Institute of Technical Education (ITE). This collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to enhance technical expertise and provide advanced curriculum resources to YISU, elevating it into a premier skill development institution in India.
During his official visit to Singapore, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy held high-level discussions with ITE officials to position YISU among the top global skill institutions. The CM, alongside a delegation of industry leaders, explored ITE’s state-of-the-art facilities and skill development programs. This partnership will empower YISU to equip Indian youth with globally competitive skills and address market demands across various industries.
The MoU was signed by YISU Vice Chancellor Subba Rao and senior ITE officials Parvinder Singh and Fabian Chiang. ITE’s leadership expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, pledging their support to advance skill development in Telangana. Industry Minister D Sridhar Babu also highlighted the introduction of innovative courses at YISU aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry demands.
